Dear friends,

We are in the darkness of winter, but I hope there is light in your hearts and in your kitchens!

My newest cookbook, The Gluten Free Vegan was published in December, just in time for the
holidays.  I have received e-mails, calls and notes thanking me for writing a gluten free
cookbook for vegans. Thank you for your kind feedback and your helpful suggestions for
improvements. I am so glad you are enjoying it!

I have been asked to teach a few cooking classes at Bob's Red Mill in Portland, Oregon in
March.   I am honored that have been invited to teach there. I hope you can come to a class.
The classes will take place March 17th and 18th. More information is available by contacting

I am inspired by all the wonderful feedback I have received from some of you, and have
actually begun to think about writing another cookbook.

I will look forward to hearing from you if  you have favorites; tried and true recipes that you
would like me to include in my next cookbook. I promise to give YOU the credit, and to tell
